New Years Honours 2016

Laura Margaret LOGAN-WOOD MBE has been made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for her work in the voluntary service in Chelmsford Essex. She has been the coordinator of the Coroners' Court Support Service in Essex since its beginning ten years ago.

 

Richard Anthony DAVIES BEM, a Coroner's Officer in Western District of Somerset for over 20 years has been made a medallist of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for services to the Bereaved in the Queen's New Year’s Honours. Dick joined the old Bristol Constabulary at the age of 16 as a cadet and saw continuous service with the Police until he became a Coroner's Officer and has now completed 50 years’ service  to the Crown.
