Mr Solomon Adler

Mr Solomon Adler

It is with great sorrow that the Coroners’ Society has learned of the death of Mr Solomon Adler. Simon Nelson explains that without Mr Adler non-invasive scanning would simply not have been contemplated as an alternative to the conventional autopsy in England & Wales. He personally funded the advice from Ian Burnett QC (as he then was); met with both government and health department officials on countless occasions; addressed the Coroners’ Society of England and Wales and selflessly gave of his time to both attend (and sometimes fund)  non-invasive examinations both late at night and at day-break for the deceased irrespective of belief. His loss to the Jewish community is incomparable but he was tremendously respected by all.

Simon Nelson and Nigel Meadows will be attending his funeral this afternoon (4th February 2014).

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and community.
